New Delhi, May 13, 2025 — The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today officially declared the results of the Class 10 board examinations. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 93.66%, marking a slight improvement over last year’s figure of 93.60%.

Students can now access their mark sheets through the official websites — cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and results.digilocker.gov.in. The results are also available via the DigiLocker app, UMANG app, and through the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS).

Examination and Participation Details

The CBSE Class 10 board exams were conducted in offline mode from February 15 to March 18, 2025, across various centres nationwide. A total of 24.12 lakh students appeared in the examinations, covering 84 subjects.

This year’s performance surpasses that of 2024, when 22.38 lakh students took the exam and the overall pass rate was recorded at 93.60%. In 2024, over 47,000 students scored above 95%, while more than 2 lakh students secured over 90%.

Accessing the Results

Students can download their digital scorecards by logging into the result portals using their roll number, date of birth, and school number—as mentioned on their admit cards.

For added convenience and transparency, CBSE has enabled multiple digital platforms to host the results, ensuring quick access and reducing server load.

Gender-Wise Performance and Trends

In line with previous years, female candidates outshone their male counterparts in the 2024 results, recording a pass percentage of 94.75%. Similar trends are expected this year, though official breakdowns by gender and region are awaited.

A Continuing Legacy

The announcement of Class 10 results comes shortly after the board released the Class 12 results. CBSE continues its legacy of timely and transparent evaluations, supporting millions of students in their academic journeys.
